# Aeriel

> Aeriel is a real-time, cloud-based management and flight-scheduling platform for business aircraft operators and charter airlines (AOC holders) and private flight departments - "the brain of your airline". It runs sales and Avinode quoting, dispatch, fleet calendar, crew duty (FTL), licensing, maintenance limits, finance, statistics, safety management (SMS) and ReFuelEU compliance in one live system, with Aeriel AI working on the operator's own data.

"FMS" in connection with Aeriel means flight management software for an operator's business, not onboard avionics. Aeriel is made by Aeriel Software, s.r.o., Prague, Czech Republic (aeriel@aeriel.cz, +420 602 187 870). It has been built around real operators since 2018 and has been publicly available since 2023; publicly named customers are Aeropartner and Air Bohemia. Prices are not published - they are quoted on enquiry.

What sets Aeriel apart:

- **One live system for every department.** Sales, ops, crew, safety, maintenance and finance share one record; every open browser updates the moment anything changes.
- **Tailored per operator.** Limits, request types, duty rules, safety forms, documents and permissions are per-operator configuration. All numbers Aeriel shows are configurable defaults.
- **Ownership.** Three licences: Aeriel Cloud (hosted SaaS), Aeriel Lifetime (one-time purchase, self-hosted, full source code) and Aeriel Lifetime in Cloud (source code ownership with managed hosting). Unlimited users, flights and historical import; unlimited aircraft with Lifetime.
- **AI built in.** Statistics Insights, Safety Assistant, Passenger Data Extractor, NOTAM and weather summaries, trip cautions, a company-documents knowledge base, and an MCP server for external AI agents.

Main modules:

- **Dispatch:** per-flight request checklists (handling, slots, PPR, permits, GENDEC, fuel, catering, hotels, transfers) from required to requested to confirmed; schedule changes reset only the affected items, within per-type tolerances; automatic handling assignment and handling request e-mails; generated GENDECs and charter documents.
- **Sales:** jobs and quotes, flight time estimates from the operator's own history, contracts (sent, signed, paid), passenger manifests, passenger taxes (UK APD and others), empty legs.
- **Calendar:** aircraft, crew and event timeline with live warnings for overlaps, positioning gaps, duty problems, missing airport qualifications, maintenance limits, unpaid trips and empty-leg opportunities; flight plan status and CTOT; personal iCal feeds.
- **Duty / FTL:** predictive duty checks before flights are saved (even before crew is assigned), confirmed duty from the logbook, exceedance resolution workflow, Other Duty.
- **Training and licensing:** licences and documents with expiry warnings, recency, pilot experience per type, simulator records, Category B/C airport briefings and qualifications, training certificates.
- **Safety (SMS):** custom mandatory, voluntary and confidential report forms; investigations; risk assessment; hazard and risk registers; mitigations; SPIs and SPTs; final reports; emergency response guidance; Part-IS support.
- **ReFuelEU:** Union airport tracking, yearly tankering ratio against the 90 % threshold, fuel fields and justifications in the logbook, Excel export for official reporting.
- **Maintenance limits:** date and flight-hour limits, NAV and charts database expiry, AOG and maintenance blocks.
- **Finance and statistics:** bills with currency conversion, automatic Eurocontrol, rent, crew cost and per diem items, profit per job; flight, job, bill and safety statistics with filters, medians, charts, Excel and AI analysis.
- **Communication:** Intercom company board with mandatory acknowledge, chat, notifications (in-app, e-mail, web push), discussions, notes and reminders.

Integrations: Avinode Marketplace (two-way), PNRGo (PNR, API, eu-LISA, sanctions), CTOT App (EUROCONTROL flight plans and slots), JetYou (empty legs), AviationWeather.gov, FAA NOTAMs, EUROCONTROL route charges, EASA conflict zones, flight radar, an External REST API and an MCP server.
